Scotchbond™ Universal Etchant is a 35% phosphoric acid gel specifically developed for maximum precision in the pretreatment of enamel and dentin. Thanks to its optimal viscosity, it can be applied with pinpoint accuracy without slumping and can be rinsed off completely with water after the recommended reaction time. It is the ideal companion for all etching techniques – particularly for selective enamel etching or the total-etch technique.

The distinct blue coloring provides excellent contrast to the tooth structure, significantly facilitating visual control during application and rinsing. In combination with the fine dispensing tips, exact dosing is guaranteed even in hard-to-reach areas.
